Manager Charlie Blakemore has hailed midfielder Jake Sedgemore as a “great signing” for Chasetown FC.
The former Shrewsbury Town, Bury and Kidderminster man has followed Darren Stride into the Scholars Ground this summer.
He spent last season at Nantwich Town and Blakemore believes his experience will be crucial as the Scholars look to build on an impressive first season in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
The Chasetown boss told the club’s website:
“Jake is a great signing for Chasetown, he brings in experience and is versatile.”
And Blakemore also teased another new face, adding:
“I also hope to tie up the loose ends on another exciting signing in the next few days.”
