Two charities have been handed cheques by the former chairman of Burntwood Town Council.
The Midlands Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Support were Cllr Doug Constable’s nominated charities during his year in office.
The money was raised through various donations and a charity fundraising event held in February.
Cllr Constable said he was pleased to be able to present £1,107 to each of the charities.
