Parents and babies are being urged to throw some shapes at a new club in Lichfield.

Organised by mum-of-two Jenny Holden, from Boley Park, Baby Boogie aims to create a fun environment for children and their mums, dads or grandparents to dance to pop hits.

Jenny said:

“Having twins it is sometime too much effort to leave the house, so as part of my own routine I like to have a dance with my boys while they are in my arms. And because they seem to enjoy it so much I thought other parents may also reap the benefits of dancing together which is where the idea for Baby Boogie came from.”

Baby Boogie starts on August 1 at Darwin Hall and is open to all parents and guardians of youngsters aged up to three.

As part of the one-hour session, which costs £3, parents will also have the chance to mingle with others, and enjoy complimentary cake.
