A roadshow in Lichfield is set to give young people a chance to learn more about their employment opportunities.
Staffordshire Young People’s Service will be joined by other organisations in Market Square on July 28 between 10am and 3pm.
It will give visitors the chance to see what is out there in terms of employment, training opportunities and support services.
County Councillor Mike Lawrence, Cabinet Member for Children’s Wellbeing, said:
“This event is a great opportunity for young people to see exactly what’s out there. Staffordshire Young People’s Service is keen to ensure every young person has the opportunity to reach their potential, giving them as much advice as possible on employment and training opportunities as well as engaging them in positive activities.
“There are lots of things for young people to do in Staffordshire, and with the summer holidays coming up, knowing what’s out there is more important than ever. Our brand new site for young people. www.youthbox.info shows exactly what young people have been up to, and also gives them advice on what activities and opportunities are available in their local area.”
