City music lovers are being given the chance to put on their blue suede shoes at a free gig in Lichfield.
The Jailhouse Rockers will take to the stage at the Feathers Inn tonight (August 5).
The Beacon Street pub will welcome the four-piece rock’n’roll band at 9pm.
A spokesperson for the band said:
“The Jailhouse Rockers offer something completely unique to any other act you have seen before. Elvis is unfortunately dead but if he wasn’t and was still going strong, then I wonder what covers Elvis would compose and perform? Well the band has thought about this and as a result learnt a range of popular songs from the last four decades – and added a twist!”
