The Midlands Air Ambulance has been boosted by a £29,200 donation from a volunteer who sells donated items online.

Fundraiser Lynne Beckett has been selling on internet auction site eBay since 2009 and the bidding has been so successful she is now running out of stock.

She said:

“I will sell anything in good condition other than furniture, electrical items and adult clothes. People who wish to donate can contact me on 01299 829719 and I or the charity can collect them.”

The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity relies on public donations to operate. The charity receives no government or National Lottery funding and needs £6million every year to keep the three aircrafts flying.

To see what items Lynne has for sale on eBay, search for charityseller2009 and the full amount of all winning bids on her items goes to Midlands Air Ambulance.
