“It is a great honour to have the Queen’s daughter-in-law officially open the hotel. For the Countess of Wessex to take the time to visit us means a great deal to everyone at the park and those involved with the hotel’s design and construction. “This won’t be the first royal visit we’ve been privileged with. Her Royal Highness Princess Ann visited in 1998. There was also a royal visit to this site by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1843, when Drayton Manor was part of the estate owned by the then Prime Minister, Sir Robert Peel.”For more information on the hotel go to www.draytonmanorhotel.com or call 01827 285551.
