Professor Roland Rotherham and chef Simon Smith will take visitors to the Lichfield Garrick on a journey across to Eastern Europe as they produce a feast from the 15th century that Dracula himself would have appreciated.

The duo’s menu will include such delights as tripe soup, fried calves brains, finished off with the perfect Bloody Mary!

A spokesperson for the show said: “The historical cookery shows have become a firm favourite at the Lichfield Garrick and the Studio is the perfect setting. Told with humour, the professor guides the audience through the history of each dish while Simon cooks up each sumptuous dish before your eyes.

“You might even get the chance to sample the fayre afterwards – so make sure your fangs are sharp!”

Historical Cookery will be at the Lichfield Garrick on October 21 at 12noon. Tickets cost £9.50, and can be booked online at www.lichfieldgarrick.com or by calling the box office on 01543 412121.
