Youngsters are being invited to try out rugby at coaching sessions in Lichfield.
Lichfield Rugby Club will host the Rugger Rats sessions – created as an introduction to tag rugby for children aged four and five – from October 16.
A spokesperson said: “The children will be coached in ball handling and running skills by qualified coaches. Parents will be encouraged to participate with their children to help create a less formal environment.
“Our ethos is that every child is important and we will aim to crystallise potential and personal development through the RFU Code of Rugby.”
The training starts at 9.30am and runs until 10.15am at Lichfield RUFC’s Cooke Fields home.
