Community groups in Burntwood are celebrating after being awarded small grants.

The money came after applications to Burntwood Town Council’s Grant Aid scheme.

The council’s chairman, Cllr Eric Drinkwater, handed over the cheques – totalling £8,000 – at a presentation evening at Burntwood Library.
