The Circus of Horrors show that caused a stir on a TV talent contest is coming to the Lichfield Garrick.

The production which found fame on Britain’s Got Talent has been revamped for new show The Ventriloquist.

A spokesperson said: “The new sensation will take you on a whirlwind journey though 1921 Berlin, three years after the First World War.

“This was the roaring twenties, a decedent decade and the birth of the cabaret. One particular venue was struggling to make ends meet, new blood was needed and it was found when Dr Haze rolled into town with his Vampire Vaudeville show.

“The Vampire Vaudeville show features hair hanging beauties, twisted contortionists, flying aerialists, demon dwarfs, gyrating jugglers, voodoo warriors, pickled people, sword swallowers, and its latest and greatest new found star The Ventriloquist.

“With a brilliant cast The Circus of Horrors features some of the greatest, most bizarre and beautiful circus acts on earth.”

The Circus of Horrors will be at the Lichfield Garrick on January 27 at 7.30pm. Tickets start at £18 and can be booked from www.lichfieldgarrick.com, or by calling the box office on 01543 412121.
