Police appeal after man is assaulted in Lichfield city centre

An appeal has been launched after a man was attacked in Lichfield.

The 20-year-old was outside the Marks & Spencer store in the Three Spires Shopping Centre with his brother when he was assaulted by two men at 3.20am on December 27.

He suffered minor injuries and did not need hospital treatment. Both of the offenders were white and aged around 20. One of them is  slim, around 6ft tall with short blond hair and a pale complexion. The other is around 5 ft 5ins tall, of medium build with light brown, slightly curly hair which had a ‘v’ cut into the back. He was wearing a stripy jumper.

Anyone with information can ring Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 155 of 27 December, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
