A new 5K run in Lichfield is set to raise money for St Giles Hospice.
The inaugral event – which is open to anyone aged 14 or over – will take place on March 25 in Beacon Park.
Helen Relihan, head of fundraising for St Giles Hospice, said: “Whether you’re looking to get fit, lining up for the beginning of a full calendar of running events – or just keen to enjoy the great outdoors – the attractive course will provide everyone with the perfect chance to stretch their legs after a long winter cooped up indoors.”
The St Giles Lichfield 5k is open to competitors aged 14 and over and will take place at 9.30am on March 25. Entry is £10 per person and runners are encouraged to collect additional funds through sponsorship. Online registration is available via the St Giles Hospice website at www.stgileshospice.com/lichfield5k. Alternatively entry forms and fundraising packs are available by contacting the St Giles Hospice Fundraising Office on 01543 434 542 or by emailing [email protected].
