The first of a series of events for youngsters are taking place at Fradley Junction this weekend.

The Wild Over Waterways scheme will kick off on Saturday (February 4) with a chance for youngsters to make food parcels to help birds survive the winter.

Further events will include a craft activity on March 3 and a scavenger hunt on April 14.

The fun runs from 11am to 2pm outside the British Waterways Office at Fradley Junction. For more details visit the Wild Over Waterways website.

  1. Does anyone else in the area hear the car alarm go off at about 3.00am and keep going till 6.00 or 7.00 in the morning, every morning. Wish I knew where it’s parked and if the owner could disable it. Sleepless In The City.
