A band have been left without their instruments after a van was stolen in Lichfield.

The Musgraves lost all of their equipment, including a violin, two guitars, bass speakers, guitar speakers and a distinctive drum kit with the name of the band written on the front of the bass drum.

The offenders stole the van, a white Mercedes Sprinter registration BD52ARO covered in stickers including a Jägermeister one on the back, between 11.30pm on January 29 and 6.30am on January 30 from Curborough Road.

The vehicle also contained two sat nav devices, a black TomTom and a silver Garmin, both with leads, a silver Apple MacBook laptop covered in stickers, a black Puma sports bag containing men’s clothing and personal items, a Sony Playstation and two TV screens.

Anyone with any information or anyone who is offered any of the above items cheaply, is asked to contact DC Collette Harrison at Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 61 of January 30, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
