A TV auctioneer is set to cast his eye over family heirlooms and other antiques at a valuation day in Lichfield.
Erasmus Darwin House will welcome Charles Hanson, who is known for appearances on BBC’s Bargain Hunt, Flog It! and Antiques Roadtrip on March 1.
People will be invited to find out more about their items between 10am and 4pm.
Alison Wallis, curator of the museum, said: “We’re so excited to have Charles back – he’s always been a great supporter of the museum.
“Last year was really successful for both the museum and Charles, he found some fascinating pieces so we’re all really looking forward to what treasures we can discover this year.”
Entry to Erasmus Darwin House is free on this day and refreshments will be available in the Georgian tearoom. There will be a charge of £1 per item assessed and all monies raised will go to the upkeep and running costs of the museum.
