People living in Fradley have been told there is no longer any danger after a fire at an industrial unit.

Firefighters put out the fire at premises on Common Lane at around 10.30pm last night (March 6).

There had been fears that harmful chemicals may have been released in the smoke and residents were advised to stay indoors and keep their windows closed.

However, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service say special precautions are no longer required.

Police officers and firefighters will now be investigating the scene to determine how the blaze started.
