Memories of yesteryear will come flooding back when Go and Play Up Your Own End comes to the Lichfield Garrick.

Named after the phrase heard in working-class areas of Birmingham and the West Midlands, the show tells the story of a group of neighbours who fight against the odds to re-build their lives, relationships and the city of their birth in a Britain made bankrupt by two world wars.

Featuring the talents of Don Maclean, Malcolm Stent, Lizzie Wiggins, Dave Sealey and Dave Willetts, the story is told with humour and song.

Go and Play Up Your Own End is  at the Lichfield Garrick from March 22 to 24. Tickets cost from £15 and can be booked from www.lichfieldgarrick.com or by calling the box office on 01543 412121.
