Firefighters from Chase Terrace will be offering motorists a spring clean to raise money for charity.

The Rugeley Road fire station will host a charity car wash on Saturday (March 24) from 10am to 3pm.

The event is part of a national campaign to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Angie Leigh, Staffordshire Treasurer for The Fire Fighters Charity said: “Not only can members of the public get their car washed and do their bit for charity; they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes.”
