Study pays off for Lichfield accountancy firm worker

A Lichfield accountancy firm is celebrating after a member of staff became a qualified taxation technician.

Kay Lewis, practice manager with Inspired Accountants, has achieved the status with the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).

“I’m happy that the hard work and nine months worth of study has culminated in passing ATT first time,” she said. “The course covered personal and business tax as well as practice administration and ethics.

“Achieving ATT is just the first step, as I will be undergoing continual professional development to ensure I am 100 per cent up-to-date and able to offer the best possible advice to businesses and individuals.”

Kay has 17 years accountancy experience, is a qualified Certified Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She joined Inspired Accountants in July 2010 as practice manager and assistswith providing compliant and cutting-edge accountancy and taxation solutions.
