Chasetown FC will aim to boost their survival hopes and throw a spanner in Chorley’s play-off hopes when the two sides meet at the Victory Park Stadium.

The Scholars failed to make it two wins on the bounce when they followed up a 4-1 win at Kendal with a 1-0 reversal against second-placed Northwich Victoria.

Chorley had won five straight games before a 1-0 defeat at Bradford Park Avenue last time out.

Chris Brindley’s men will take heart from their home performance against the Magpies earlier this season when only a last-gasp Matt Jansen strike denied them all three points.

Kick-off tomorrow (April 7) is at 3pm.
