Two men have been jailed for a street robbery in Lichfield. Duane Gair and Nathan Moore committed the crime in the Stowe Pool area at around 2.45am on Friday 10 February 2012. They targeted two men, aged 22 and 20, who were walking home from the city’s Tesco superstore. Gair and Moore pinned the men against railings and demanded property from them, taking their mobile phones and punching one of them in the face. The offenders were arrested later that morning at Moore’s house in Pauls Walk, Lichfield. They were subsequently charged with robbery, which they both admitted. At Stafford Crown Court on Friday 20 April, Moore (21) was jailed for 24 months and Gair (22), of Dimbles Lane, Lichfield, received a 20-month prison sentence. Inspector Jed White, Lichfield Local Policing Team Commander, said: “Gair and Moore are serving significant sentences for their serious crimes. “Our officers arrested them within hours of the robbery and a thorough investigation followed. We treat robbery – which can be terrifying for victims – and other violent crime extremely seriously. “Anyone with information about crime should ring us on 101. Alternatively, they can ring independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”

  1. I see there was talk of them losing the tenancy when the clan heads went inside.
Now it seems, instead of the police cleaning up Dimbles, the clan has spread its tentacles!
Why would any one rent him accommodation?
Dimbles will never be clean if they import problems.

I note drug problems still occur in the area.On the Policeuk site they list “Harwood rd” for drugs crime – I thought that used to be a very nice road.

  2. on a stowe pool related story ,some weeks ago there was a couple of young men in high vis clothing and bin bag and litter picking tool, they were what I can only discribed as “worrting” a pair of swans that were upon the grassy area,if they were ethie council or naughty boys paying penance thet should be easily told not to do it,just a shame the cctv camera is always pointing skyward

  3. The Gairs (drug dealers by conviction) DID get evicted off Meadowbrook rd by the Housing association, only for the do-gooders to rehouse them in a £1250 PCM mock tudor 5 bedroom/double garage house on Austin Cote lane, is that teaching them?
