The Lichfield branch of an animal charity have thanked shoppers for supporting their efforts.
More than £750 was raised for the Lichfield and Tamworth Cats Protection at the spring fayre in Lichield Guildhall on Saturday (May 5).
A spokesperson said: “We had a successful event, raising £750 towards the care of the growing number of cats and kittens that are taken in daily and re-homed by our welfare team.
“If anyone would like to join our group of volunteers with either fundraising or welfare, we welcome all the help we can get.”
“Our meetings are every third monday at St Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield from 7pm.”
