Paul Hutchings, 39, was one of 60 winners who will get free entry to the celebrations at the Shugborough Estate on June 3.

Their visit will coincide with a Jubilee-themed exhibition of photographs of the Queen taken by the late Patrick Lichfield, together with the robes worn by his grandparents at Her Majesty’s coronation.

“We are delighted that we have won the tickets and we are looking forward to celebrating the Diamond Jubilee at Shugborough,” Paul said. “I will be taking my wife Claire and my sons Daniel and Matthew with me.

“After the fun we had at a relative’s street party for the Royal Wedding last year, we are already getting into the spirit and excitement for the upcoming Jubilee. We have never visited the estate before, so we are looking forward to it.”

Staffordshire County Councillor Pat Corfield added: “I’m delighted for all the ticket winners – I’m sure they will have a great day.”

Tickets are still available for the celebrations, with prices and booking details at
