A regular gathering near Lichfield has enjoyed a double ‘Jubilympics’ celebration.
The group for older people – which meets at Whittington Village Hall – marked both the 2012 Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee.
After music and songs, they took part in an Olympic quiz and their own mini-Olympics, including sports such as tossing the bean bag, miniature golf and a spoon relay race.
The club in Whittington still has some room for new members. It meets every Wednesday afternoon and more information can be found by contacting Chris Jones on 01543 433190.
