Lichfield District Council were called out after panels were left on St Matthews Road, Meg Lane and Coppy Nook Lane. They were also left on Wall Lane in Wall.

And now councillors want anyone who saw the corrugated concrete asbestos panels left on the roadside to come forward.

Councillor Louise Flowith said: “Dumped rubbish is a blight on our landscape and it is unfair that our residents should have to pay to remove it.

“This is way we are asking anyone who may have information about any of these incidences to contact us. We come down hard on fly-tipping and will look to prosecute.”

If you spot anyone fly-tipping, report it online at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/reportit or by calling 01543 308999.
