A Lichfield man has been arrested in connection with the supply of heroin.

Police raided a house in Stychbrook Gardens at 6.15pm on Monday (September 3).

A 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin with intent to supply, while a 43-year-old man was arrested for handling stolen goods.

Both men were interviewed before being released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Sgt Richard Morris, from Lichfield Local Policing Team, said: “These arrests were made after our officers executed a warrant in relation to stolen goods.

“We are committed to cracking down on theft and drug crime across Lichfield and the surrounding areas. Anyone with information about crime in their area should ring Staffordshire Police on 101. Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
