Burntwood residents will be celebrating the arrival of winter with their traditional Christmas Lantern Parade.
Organised by Forward Action Burntwood, Lichfield District Council and Bromford Living, it will be the foruth time the event has taken place.
There will also be a Christmas market on offer at Burntwood Leisure Centre before the procession travels from Cherry Close on December 8.
Ahead of the parade a number of free lantern-making workshops will take place:
- November 24, 10am-4pm – Oakdene Day Centre
- November 26, 5pm-8pm – Oakdene Day Centre
- November 28, 5pm-8pm – Oakdene Day Centre
- November 30, 5pm-8pm – Oakdene Day Centre
- December 2, 10am-4pm – Burntwood Youth Centre
- December 4, 5pm-8pm – Burntwood Youth Centre
- December 6, 5pm-8pm – Burntwood Youth Centre
