Lichfield City have boosted their ranks with three new signings.

Despite an unbeaten run and a strong start to his reign, manager Paul Holt has still moved to strengthen his squad.

Midfielder Chris Milner has joined from Boldmere St Michaels, while Rocester duo Craig Smith and Jack Langston have signed on short term loan deals.

Forward Smith will add extra options going forward as Liam Holt begins a four month suspension, while Langston’s arrival and that of Milner will help cover the loss of Danny Worrall who is suffering with a heel injury.

“Jack is only 19 and one of the best midfielders in the Midland Alliance,” the Lichfield boss explained. “He already has over 100 appearances to his name at that level and recently had a spell at Rushall Olympic.

“He will be a great addition to the squad, albeit for a short period.”

All three new arrivals will go into the City squad for their trip to bottom side Blackwood on Saturday (November 24).
