The Stonnall Players will be taking to the stage for a production of the Frog Prince.

The tale will explore what became of the hero before his amphibious transformation and allow the audience to follow the bumbling fairies as they try to put things right but invariably get them wrong.

A spokesperson added: “Hiss and boo the baddies and find out if our frog gets turned back into a Prince and wins the hand of his true love.”

The pantomime is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie Cancer Care. The show takes place on January 17, 18 and 19 at Stonnall Village Hall.

Tickets – priced £7 adults, £3 children or a family ticket for two adults and up to three children for £18 – are available by phoning 01543 374541, emailing stonnallplayers@gmail.com or visiting the Stonnall Players website.
