Lichfield and Walsall District Football League results – February 3, 2013

Burntwood St Matthews moved within three points of top spot in the Premier Division of the Lichfield and Walsall District Football League after a 5-0 hammering of Burntwood Star.

Hazelwood Athletic upset the form book in Division One with a 5-2 win at Burntwood AFC, while bottom club Trident picked up a point against basement rivals Hussey Arms.

Meanwhile, Duke of Wellington’s hopes of battling for the title in Division Two were dented with a 7-0 home loss against fellow high-flyers Chase Terrace Victoria.

Division Three’s standout result saw Trent Valley Rovers close the gap on leaders Bowman with a 12-0 thumping of Lichfield Social B.
