Performances by the Lichfield Garrick Youth Choir, Wildfire Folk and Danceworks featured in an evening to raise funds for the We Love Lichfield Fund and Midlands Air Ambulance.

More than 120 people attended the event at Burntwood St Matthews Sports and Social Club and Cllr Humphreys admits he was delighted with the turnout.

“In all, 120 people joined me for the evening, including the mayors and chairmen of borough and district councils across Staffordshire and South Derbyshire,” he said.

“It was a great night. Lots of people told me how much they enjoyed the fantastic music, dance, food and company.

“Around £600 was raised on the night, which will be donated to my chosen charities at the end of my year as chairman.”
