Lichfield will raise a glass to the news that a popular festival is returning to the city centre.
The Summer Beer and Wine Festival will take place at the Guildhall on May 31 and June 1 after previously being held at venues away from the centre of Lichfield.
The event has been running for 23 years and will feature more than 30 real ales sourced from local and regional breweries, together with a range of traditional ciders and wines.
Music will also be on offer with Punch the Air playing on the first evening before Three’s Company appear the following night.
Lichfield Arts director Dave Simcox said: “I’m delighted that the festival is coming back to the city centre.
“These festivals are great community events and attract many visitors to the city.”
The festival is open each day from noon to 11pm. Entrance is £2 before 6pm and £3 afterwards.
