The ribbon is ready to be cut on the Lichfield Garrick’s tenth anniversary season.

The new programme will be launched on April 30, featuring a range of music, comedy, drama and festival performances.

A gala concert on June 30 will take centre stage, with host Angela Rippon introducing a range of stars from London’s West End, including Claire Moore and Alasdair Harvey.

Adrian Jackson, the Lichfield Garrick’s chief executive, said: “It’s hard to believe that the Lichfield Garrick has been entertaining audiences from across the region for a decade.

“Over the last ten years we’ve played host to thousands of performances and have enjoyed a national reputation for excellence in producing, with two of our own productions transferring to London.

“I am very much looking forward to the gala night, and will be conducting the City Concert Orchestra as we play music from the great musicals.

“It will be a fantastic evening with a great atmosphere.”

Other highlights from the new season include:

  • An Audience with Sir David Frost
  • Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers
  • Vienna Festival Ballet’s Sleeping Beauty
