Chasetown FC hoping for one final effort against Coalville

Chasetown FC’s hunt for a play-off spot will go right to the wire when they take on high-flying Coalville.

Their opponents narrowly missed out on the title after King’s Lynn Town put it beyond their reach in midweek.

Chasetown will be hoping the disappointment will take the edge off Coalville who have been in impressive form this season.

The play-off race is currently a four-way battle for two spots, with Stamford, Sutton Coldfield Town and Halesowen Town joining Craig Harris’ men in the hunt for an extension to the season.

A win would guarantee Chasetown a play-off berth, while a draw and even a defeat could also be enough if other results go their way.

Tomorrow’s fixtures in the play-off battle:
Coalville Town v Chasetown
Halesowen Town v Lincoln United
Mickleover Sports v Stamford
Sutton Coldfield Town v Leek Town

As it stands:

Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division play-off race
Pos P GD Pts
4 Stamford 41 38 73
5 Chasetown 41 32 73
6 Sutton Coldfield Town 41 20 73
7 Halesowen Town 41 9 71
