A horse racing trainer who helped launch the career of several jockeys at his yard in Upper Longdon has died.
Reg Hollinshead produced more than 2,000 winners from his yard near Lichfield.
He developed a number of jockeys during his career, including the likes of Pat Eddery and Walter Swinburn.
Another of his former riders, Kevin Darley, told Sky Sports: “He was a legend.”
The Hollinshead Racing business is managed by Reg’s son Andrew.
