2013 is the 16th year that Cars in the Park has been held. This year’s event is on the 6th and 7th July in Beacon Park, Lichfield.
Cars in the Park is an event that individuals and Car Clubs can exhibit their vehicles and in 2013 there will be a Concourse d’elegance for cars built before 1960 and will be restricted to 10 entrants. New Car dealerships will be present and cover the whole spectrum of cars from Bentley to the Dacia range and their presence gives attendees the opportunity to see a the whole range of cars to suit every pocket.
Entrance to Cars in the Park is free but there will be a Car Parking Charge.
The event is organised by Lichfield St Chad Rotary with all monies raised given to charities, both local and international. Since 2000 the Lichfield St Chad Rotary has provided seating in the Friary gardens and outside gym equipment in Stowe Field adjacent to Stowe Pool. In 2013 the Midlands Air Ambulance (Lichfield St. Chad Rotary’s preferred Charity of Cars in the Park 2013) will be attending Cars in the Park and it is hoped those attending will give generously to this most worthwhile charity that does so much to save lives.
