Total Stone Roses

fakefestivalsposterThe Fake Festival is coming to Lichfield – and we’ve got tickets to give away.

The event in Beacon Park will take place on August 10 and features performances from tribute bands Kazabian, Blondied and The Total Stone Roses.

Early bird tickets will be on sale until July 10 but with sell-outs at other Fake Festival events across the country, demand is expected to be high.

“Every year the tour just seems to go from strength to strength,” said Fake Festival founder Jez Lee.

“With more places getting to enjoy some great live music courtesy of a festival rolling up right on their doorstep and some incredible new tribute acts lined up to boot, this year’s tour is already shaping up to be the best yet.”

Hosted inside the Fake Festivals’ marquee boasting a main stage with a state of the art sound and lighting system, 2013 will see Fake Festivals visiting more places in the UK than ever before.

Also performing at the community led event will be five local up and coming support bands, as well as a secured area featuring food stalls, face painting, a bucking bronco, bungee run and a bouncy castle.

Lee Storey, who is behind the Lichfield Fake Festival, said: “We’ve put together a great event, with three superb tributes to cover everybody’s music taste, together with five local support bands, and it is guaranteed to be an excellent day of live music.”

Tickets can be booked online at www.fakefestivals.co.uk.
