Families will be able to enjoy a day of fun at an event in Beacon Park.

Circus skills workshops, rides, games, dance demonstrations, stalls and a bear hunt will be on offer in the Lichfield park between 11am and 3pm on August 14.

Youngsters are also invited to bring their teddies to take part in the Teddy Bear Games.

Councillor Val Richards said: “Each year hundreds of people come to Beacon Park’s Fun Day to enjoy all the activities on offer.

“We hope the weather will be fine and that lots of families join us for a day in the great outdoors. And a reminder to children – don’t forget to bring your teddy so you can join in the Teddy Bear Games.”

Entry to Beacon Park Fun Day is free, but there will be a charge for some of the activities.
