A Lichfield shop’s restaurant will be getting a gallery makeover as it prepares to display work by local artists.

Debenhams has agreed to showcase six pieces of art for up to three months.

Store manager, Sam Zeen, said: “Our restaurant has just opened and looks fantastic, but we wanted to give customers some fresh and interesting art to look at while they dine in our restaurant and who better to provide it than Lichfield’s up and coming artists.

“We think it will make a real talking point for customers and colleagues and hopefully help to raise the profile of some of Lichfield’s many talented creative people.”

Each artist will decide the asking price of their piece of art and receive this amount in full in the event of a purchase, with the store simply providing the means for them tor reach the general public.

Each piece of art can be up to A1 size. Anyone interested in submitting their work should email their entry to
