Burntwood Town’s rollercoaster season rumbled on as they crashed 4-1 at home to Polesworth.
Mike Gentles’ men went into the game on the back of a positive result against Perrywood.
But they failed to trouble Polesworth as a Jamie Lake hat-trick and an Alex Gough strike meant a Dean Williams effort was nothing more than a consolation for Town.
Burntwood will hope for better next Saturday (September 14) when they entertain Enville Athletic.
