An application has been submitted for the parish of Lichfield to become a designated neighbourhood area.
Lichfield City Council are behind the bid and sees them follow other areas who have begun drawing up plans to help shape their communities in the future.
People can comment on the proposal until October 21 at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplans.
