Houses near Lichfield had to be evacuated after a car crashed into a gas main.
The incident happened at 10.30pm last night (September 29) on the B5016 in Yoxall.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Residents were taken to a nearby Indian restaurant to get away from the leaking gas.
“The driver of the car, a woman in her fifties had minor injuries and was taken to Queen’s Hospital in Burton.”
