Focus switches to FA Trophy encounter for Chasetown FC

The FA Trophy will be the focus of Chasetown FC’s attention as they return to action tomorrow (October 5).

Craig Harris’ men will be keen to embark on a money-spinning run in the competition after the disappointment of an FA Cup replay defeat against Stafford Rangers.

And with no defeats in their last three outings, The Scholars will be hopeful of getting the better of their Southern League Division One opponents Rugby Town.

Chasetown have been buoyed by the goalscoring efforts of loan Walsall striker Danny Griffiths in recent weeks, but will face a Rugby side who are fourth in their league and boast St Kitt’s and Nevis international Aaron Moses-Garvey in their ranks.

Kick-off at The Scholars Ground tomorrow is at 3pm.
