Barton United hoping to shrug off heavy defeat with cup victory

Barton United will be hoping to quickly shake off the memories of a heavy defeat last time out when they entertain Sutton United.

An 8-1 home hammering by Kenilworth Town KH at the weekend has left them in third place in the Midland Combination Division Two, with the demise of Rugeley Rangers shaking up the table.

But it will be the cup which takes Barton’s attentions tomorrow (October 19) as they bid to bounce back to winning ways.

The Birmingham Saturday Vase clash sees United entertain Division One high-flyers Sutton United.

The two clubs have already met once in cup competition this season, with Barton narrowly missing out in a 4-2 extra time defeat in September.

Kick off at Holland Sports Club is at 3pm.
