Plans to convert a disused Lichfield tennis court into car parking have been given the go-ahead.
There had been opposition to the proposals for the Birmingham Road site, which was once home to the Lichfield Lawn Tennis Club.
Lichfield City Council had raised objections, saying it would cause congestion as well as safety issues for pupils using the shared access with Queens Croft School.
But Lichfield District Council planners have now given the 65-space car park the go-ahead.
