Lichfield City FC share the spoils in local derby at Pelsall Villa

Lichfield City FC picked up a point after a strong performance at Pelsall Villa – although they may feel disappointed they didn’t take all three.

Paul Holt’s men stated brightly and went in front after ten minutes when Samson Alalade netted.

But they were pegged back in ten minutes as Kieran Miller equalised with a well taken goal from 25 yards out.

City, playing up the hill, created more of the first half chances, but failed to convert.

After the break, Lichfield dominated, but couldn’t find the second goal that they deserved.

City return to action on Saturday (November 2) when they entertain Littleton at Brownsfield Park, 3pm kick off.
