Nine days of festive fun are coming to Lichfield.

Free exhibitions, guided tours and entertainment will be on offer at venues across the city from December 7 to 15.

The Lichfield Christmas Festival will also feature a variety of gift, craft, vintage and food markets, as well as a procession of lanterns made by children and opportunities to see Santa.

Councillor Val Richards, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure, Communications & Tourism, said: “There is so much going on across the city in the lead up to Christmas, and this festival is a great way to bring many of the events together so no one misses out on any of the fun.

“Lichfield is the perfect place to stock up on gifts, and, with so many events taking place, it is the place to be to get some festive cheer.”
