Lichfield’s MP has urged people to back independent companies.

Michael Fabricant made his comments on the back of a visit to the the Federation of Small Businesses’ Christmas Tree in Lichfield Cathedral.

“Small businesses are the future John Lewis’ and Microsofts of this world and need to be supported,” he said.

“I was pleased to meet the Federation of Small Business in Lichfield and see their Christmas Tree decorated with symbols of the various trades they represent.”
