Chasetown FC will be desperate to make it five league wins on the bounce as they head into a local derby with Sutton Coldfield Town.

The Scholars have evoked memories of their dramatic run to the play-offs with a recent run of form which culminated in a 4-1 shock at promotion-chasing Belper Town on Saturday.

But they will have to repeat the trick against another of the division’s high-fliers tomorrow (January 18).

Sutton Coldfield have more than a few former Scholars in their squad including keeper Lee Evans, defenders Matt Jackson and Scott Lycett, midfielders Craig Milligan and Lee Parsons, and strike duo Gary Hay and Dean Perrow.

However, injury could prevent several of the ex-Chasetown contingent from turning out for the Royals, with Parsons breaking two ribs in his side’s league win over Lincoln United last Saturday.

Kick-off at Sutton Coldfield is at 3pm.
